Who needs to schlep all the way to Tanglewood or Jones Beach for outdoor fun when you have Yiddishfest right here close to home?

Experience the heart and soul of the best of the Yiddish stage on Sunday, July 31, at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Get there early and enjoy Yiddish folk dancing with Sasha who will lead the audience through traditional dances beginning at 5 p.m. The musical entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and includes vocalists Kenny Green and Joanne Borts, cantor Hayley Kobilinsky, Kolya Borodulin “Instant Yiddish,” the Sruli and Lisa Family Band and the Westchester Klezmer Program Band.
Admission and parking are free. Bring blankets or chairs for seating on the lawn.

Yiddish Fest is presented by Camp Kinder Ring, and Westchester Klezmer Program, in cooperation with Westchester County Parks.
The Kensico Dam Plaza is located in Valhalla at the north end of the Bronx River Parkway.
