Larchmont Mamaroneck Center for Continuing Education has a big change this Fall….it’s added a Family Fun section- classes for parents with their children. How cool is that?

Classes this fall include… How to Build a Model Airplane, The Art of Cupcake Decorating, Gourmet Chocolate Covered Caramel Apples, Decorating a Festive Gingerbread House, and creating a Memory Wire Bracelet.

The details are under the Family Fun section on the home page.  They’ve also expanded the Film section by offering a daytime film class, Rediscover Hitchcock – Master of Suspense, at the Mamaroneck Library.  We’re also now partnering with LMC-TV and are offering 5 classes, from Adobe Photoshop to Introduction to TV Studio Production, at the LMC-TV Studio, 145 Library Lane in Mamaroneck.

In the past year, Executive Director Sandie Conner says the organization has “made a conscious effort to reach out to local residents, from businesses owners to artists to writers, to teach classes for us.  An important mission of ours is to become a “Community-Center” from all aspects, including both students and teachers.”

Now, about those gourmet chocolate caramel apples…
