To the Editor:
Has anyone driven home to the Larchmont area, from points South on 95 after dark recently ?
If I were to stand at the side of I-95 with an ultra bright flashlight and shine it in drivers’ eyes as they drove by, I would surely be arrested for reckless endangerment. And I should be.
So why are we supposed to accept having massive huge zillion-watt construction work zone lighting blinding us as we drive northward ?
The Thruway Authority and companies they hire to do roadwork at night should be required to mount some sort of temporary visual screening on the highway median, between their blinding lights and oncoming traffic.
