Police Blotters: Town of Mamaroneck and Village of Larchmont

Hold on to your stuff!  Mamaroneck Town Police report the following items stolen over the last ten days:

Nov. 6, 2018 – Burglary, Valley Stream Road West. A red 10,000 watt Honeywell generator was stolen.

Nov. 4 – Petit Larceny,  Normandy Road. A package was stolen containing diet supplements.

Nov. 2- Forgery, Webster Bank, Boston Post Road. A check was forged in the amount of $3918.81

Oct. 29 – Hommocks Middle School. A blue XTC Junior bike was stolen from the bike rack. It was unlocked. On Oct. 2 a white Jamis XAZ Mountain Trail bike was stolen from the bike rack, also unlocked.

Larchmont

Bad driving and a counterfeit currency.  Incidents investigated by the  Larchmont Police Department during the week beginning 10/27/18 and ending 11/03/18

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Philadelphia man was arrested on 10/27 and charged with operating with suspended driving privileges after he was observed operating a vehicle on Chatsworth Ave and committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on $100 bail.

PENAL LAW ARREST

A White Plains man was arrested on 10/28 after Larchmont Police Officers responded to a loud altercation in the stairwell of an East Ave building. Dejan Korac, 28, was charged with Criminal Contempt 1st degree, arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1000 bail.

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A New Rochelle man was arrested on 10/28 and charged with operating with suspended driver license after he was observed operating a vehicle on Chatsworth Ave and committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on his own recognizance.

VEHICLE & TRAFFIC

A Mount Vernon man was arrested on 10/29 and charged with operating with suspended driver license after he was observed operating a vehicle on Boston Post Rd and committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on his own recognizance.

PENAL LAW/VEHICLE & TRAFFIC LAW ARREST

A Bronx man was arrested on 10/30 after he was observed operating a vehicle on Boston Post Rd and committing a traffic infraction. Zahbre FARMER, 26, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Bail Jumping 3rd, stemming from a Warrant of Arrest issued by Larchmont Justice Court, he was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY

Larchmont Police Officers responding to a report of someone attempting to pass counterfeit currency at a business establishment on Palmer Ave, after canvassing the immediate area, discovered the individual had used a counterfeit bill to acquire merchandise at another Palmer Ave business.
