CRIME OF THE WEEK – A man reportedly stole $100 in donations for candles from two cash boxes at St. Augustine’s Church in Larchmont. March 27

VILLAGE OF LARCHMONT

DWI ARREST: Police arrested a New Rochelle man for driving while impaired by drugs, and marijuana possession after receiving a report of a man slumped over the wheel of his car on Palmer Avenue. March 27

BURGLARY: A Boston Post Road business owner reported that sometime overnight someone opened the cash register and stole $130. March 29

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/LEAVING SCENE: A Woodbine Avenue resident reported that he saw an unknown driver strike his stone wall, causing $1500 in damage. The offender fled the scene of the accident. March 31

LARCENY: A Boston Post Road business owner reported that sometime overnight someone removed lawn chairs, valued at $75, from the front of the business. April 1

RYE

ARREST: A 34 year-old woman from the Bronx was arrested on a DUI charge on Midland Avenue. The woman was seen making a left turn onto the wrong side of the I-95 highway ramp. April 3

VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK

ARREST: A 21 year-old woman from Rye was charged with a DWI while driving on East Boston Post Road. March 29

IDENTITY THEFT: A Mamaroneck Avenue resident reported that someone had attempted to open up credit cards in his name. The incident occurred on March 21. No money was stolen. March 29

IDENTITY THEFT: A Halstead Avenue resident reported that someone had used his credit card to make unauthorized purchases totaling $1100. March 31

ACCIDENT HIT & RUN: Police tracked down a man who reportedly fled after hitting a parked vehicle in a lot on Old White Plains road. The man was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident. March 31

LARCENY: A woman reported that someone stole $25 and her cell phone from her purse while she was at work at an East Boston Post Road business. March 31.


SCARSDALE

IDENTITY THEFT & FRAUD: A Penn Boulevard resident reported that someone had attempted to open accounts in his name and purchased clothing totaling $992.75 on his existing credit card.  March 29
