It must be the heat: This week’s blotter from the Mamaronecks, Larchmont, Rye and Scarsdale.

VILLAGE OF LARCHMONT

BURGLARY: A Larchmont Avenue resident reported returning home to discover the front door of his residence ajar and property missing from two bedrooms. June 27

ARREST: Employees at the Chase Bank branch on Chatsworth Avenue reported that a female attempted to cash a fraudulent check, when she was denied she fled the bank and entered a vehicle.  The vehicle was located by responding officers and the occupants were placed under arrest. The three Brooklyn residents were charged with Attempted Grand Larceny, Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, and Possession of Marijuana.  They were arraigned and transported to the County Jail on $5000 bail. June 30

VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK

ARREST: A 24 year-old woman from the Bronx was arrested for DWI while driving on Phillips Park Road. July 2

ARREST: A 57 year-old man and a 57 year-old woman from White Plains were arrested for having an open container to an alcoholic beverage while in Columbus Park July 2

ARREST: A 22 year-old man from Yonkers was arrested DWI. He was pulled over by patrol after going through a red light East Boston Post Road. July 3

ARREST: A 16 year-old girl from the town of Mamaroneck was arrested for possession of marijuana on Palmer Avenue. July 4

TOWN OF MAMARONECK

LARCENY: An unknown man attempted to steal a case of Bud Light from the CVS on Boston Post Road. A customer noticed the man walking out with the case without paying. She informed an employee immediately and the man ran and left the case behind. July 1

SCARSDALE

LARCENY: A Mamaroneck Road resident made a call-in complaint that her credit card had several fraudulent charges on it in the amount of $2000. The woman said that she noticed her credit card was missing but was unsure if it was stolen. June 27

AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT: A Brown Road resident made a walk-in complaint that she was receiving threatening phone calls. The man making the calls said he is going to come to her house and harm her. She said that the man may be a former co-worker. The situation is under further investigation. June 28

LARCENY: A Sagamore Road resident made a walk-in complaint that her Giant Brand silver bicycle was stolen from a bike rack outside of her apartment. June 30

LARCENY: A Swarthmore Road resident made a call-in complaint that someone had broken into her car and stole a GPS. The woman noticed her sister’s gym bag filled with clothes and other items had been emptied all over the lawn. The woman was also unsure if the car was left unlocked. July 1
