At a mere four-months old, Pinky (no doubt how she got that name), she was adopted from the New Rochelle Humane Society by someone who promised plenty of exercise at the park, training classes and a lifetime of love — none of which were kept.
Today, eight-months later, Pinky is back at the shelter, with high hopes that she’s not in line for another letdown. The year-old mixed breed girl is as sweet as they come, an expert in cuddling, kissing and unconditional love. All she needs in return is a for a caring owner to uphold his or her end of the bargain.
The $140 adoption fee covers the costs of Pinky’s heartworm test, micro-chip, collar, ID tags, starter bag of food and training classes.
