Don’t miss this! From the Mamaroneck Public Library and photographer Klara Hanincova:

January 17th!

Through January 17:   “Shelter Dogs” attempts to promote animal adoption and corrects common misconceptions about the shelter dogs by portraying them for who they really are – loving, playful companions in search of a home.

The exhibit features photographs of dogs from the New Rochelle Humane Society.  The photographs are on display in the gallery space of the library located on the ground level.

Founded in 1911, the New Rochelle Humane Society is a private non-profit organization dedicated to providing individual loving care for lost, abandoned, injured and mistreated animals.  The New Rochelle Humane Society serves 17 communities in Westchester County, and rescues over 500 dogs and cats each year.  If you would like to learn more about the New Rochelle Humane Society please visit: www.newrochellehumanesociety.org

Each week theLoop features a pet from this shelter that needs a home.

The Mamaroneck Public Library is located at 136 Prospect Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY 10543.
