The murder of Jennifer Katz just before the New Year in 2010 rocked the community to the core.
Katz, 49, lived on Baldwin Place in Mamaroneck with her two daughters, worked at two retail stores in Larchmont, was a team coach, and more. Reginald Powell, her handyman and brother of a man she dated, was indicted in the brutal slaying in her home after he was found driving her car in New York City.
After nearly two years in county jail, Powell is scheduled to appear in White Plains court tomorrow for the first day of his jury trial in front of Judge James Hubert.
