Busy Beechmont Road in New Rochelle cited by a reader as too dangerous

We continue to follow up on the dangerous intersections and roads you’re telling us about.

TheLoop has added your comments and emails to the interactive map below. As we add more of the local areas that you are telling us need attention, theLoop is contacting local ‘electeds’ in an effort to get some results.

We have, so far, requested responses from NYS Sen. George Latimer, NYS Assemblyman Steve Otis,  Town of Mamaroneck Council members, members of the Town of Mamaroneck Traffic Committee, the Town of Mamaroneck Supervisor, the Mayor of Larchmont, the Mayor of Scarsdale, and the Mayor of New Rochelle.

You can see from the map how many important suggestions we have already logged. One reader suggested a grant.

We’ll keep you posted, and your suggestions are always welcome in theLoop.
