LARCENY: Someone smashed the passenger side window of a 2008 Honda Civic parked on Pelham Road, stealing $10 worth of quarters from the car. March 18

SERVING MINORS: A woman that works at Club Tropicana on North Avenue was arrested for serving alcohol to minors.  March 19

WEAPONS POSSESSION: Police arrested an 18-year-old man for criminal possession of a weapon after he tried to hide behind a car and toss away the switchblade he had when officers approached him. Police spotted the man behaving suspiciously near Fourth Street and St. John’s Place, where they  were investigating an unrelated attempted Larceny from a car. March 19.

ASSAULT: A man was arrested and charged with assault after a Coligni Avenue resident claimed the man threatened him with a yellow and black razor. March 19

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A Wykagyl Terrace landscaper reported a man wearing a black ski mask, black jacket and black boots trying to open a window to the basement of one of the residences at around 8 a.m.  The man ran away after he was spotted.  The window was pushed in but there was no other damage.  March 20

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A Paine Avenue homeowner reported finding pry marks on the rear door of his house.  March 19

BURGLARY: Police arrested A 17-year-old youth and charged him with criminal mischief and burglary after he allegedly threw a rock through the office window of the Getty Gas Station on Pelham Road.  March 20

BURGLARY: About $50,000 worth of jewelry and $1,600 in cash was stolen from a Winding Brook Road house. The burglar broke in through a rear window.  March 20.
