Mamaroneck Village Ethics Chairman Charged with Child Pornography

The chairman of the Board of Ethics of the Village of Mamaroneck is charged with possessing and sharing child pornography, according to the Westchester District Attorney’s office.

Charles Mitchell is alleged to have possessed video of a girl, 10-12 years old, performing an obscene act, and then sharing it with others on a computer network.

Mitchell was arraigned Friday in Mamaroneck Village Court. Bail was set at $5,000 cash or $20,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 12, 2018.
