A 15 year old Mamaroneck teen was one of three people to die in two separate accidents at an ice fishing tournament in New Hampshire.
According to Wired2Fish, the body of 15-year-old Arthur Remy of Mamaroneck was one of those recovered on Lake Winnipesaukee.
Remy and his father, Arnaud Remy, 48, were snowmobiling on different machines that went through the ice. The father was rescued and the son remained missing for several hours, and was recovered Sunday morning at a depth of 73 feet, according to reports.
The father and son were participants of the The Great Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby and decided to go for a snowmobile ride, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.
Our deepest condolences go out to the Remy family.
