  1. The New England Thruway runs thru SW CT – And CT is a New England state. So, yes, the New England Thruway, usually referred to as 1-95, Does indeed run thru New England. Years ago – as recent as the 90’s – it was always called New England Thruway. But it is called that all the way into the NYC.
