Julio Landaez has taken the reigns as new owner of Zabidury Cuisine in New Rochelle where he is offering a new Latin-themed menu, big bar/lounge featuring specialty cocktails and DJ stand for musical entertainment on weekends, as well as an enhanced dining room seating up to 80 guests.
Star of the nightlife is sure to be Manchita, a mechanical bull that sits in its own fancy padded stall waiting for riders. It may be the only mechanical bull in greater Westchester: just imagine famous Gilley’s in Dallas right here in the ‘Queen City of the Sound’.
The limited opening menu includes such Puerto Rican/Latin big and small plates as: Lump Crab Cake, Peruvian Ceviche, Puerto Rican Nachos, Seafood Paella, Salmon Filet and Grilled Argentinean Skirt Steak. There is a Tapas menu as well.
The restaurant and bar/lounge is currently open Wednesday and Thursday, 5 pm to midnight; Friday and Saturday, 5 pm to 4 am; and Sundays, starting in June, from 4 pm to midnight. Lunch is planned for a later date.
