A fifteenth wedding anniversary is sometimes symbolized by Crystal. So what about the fifteenth annniversary of a successful local salon?
In the case of Everything’s Hair in Larchmont, there’s the crystal jewelry for sale near the windows, the crystal cleanliness of the space, and the crystal clear loyalty of its clientele. But that is only part of the story.
Everything’s Hair partner and Lead Stylist Ginger Pulcino of Mamaroneck, says her relationships with her clients is as important as doing hair.
“Finding ways to please people starts with the hair, and as you start to build the relationship, so much more becomes involved,” she says.
“It’s a comfy atmosphere,” says Co-Partner and store manager Dina Mattola. “I think that’s what keeps people coming back. We greet everyone that comes in and all of our employees try to go above and beyond being polite and welcoming.”
Oh, and don’t stress the Trader Joe’s Parking Lot. Come in for a head massage!
Finally, what about the competition, the fact that there seems to be a hair salon on every block?
“I believe there is abundance for everyone,” Ginger says, “If you love what you do and that shows, it dosen’t matter how many other salons there are.”
