Larchmont Boutique Burglarized Twice

Larchmont Police are investigating two burglaries at a boutique on Palmer Avenue over a two week period.

Love by Bella Fiora was burglarized twice in a week

Cash was stolen from Love by Bella Fiora, at  1912 Palmer Ave  both days; yesterday, a store worker says, the entire cash register was taken.

She said it was probably the work of someone familiar with access to the back of the store.

Bella Fiora is next door to Plaza Bootery, which has had its share of police activity recently, including having counterfeit merchandise seized by County authorities, and the arrest of owner Lee Mendes for robbing a customer and fleeing with her bag.

Mendes was out on bail at the time of the recent incidents at Bella Fiora.

  1. Wait, did you say, “and the arrest of owner Lee Mendes for robbing a customer and fleeing with her bag.” ??? WTF?

Momof4- I agree, although there ARE no more independent shoe stores, are there?

  2. Can we be done with Plaza Bootery? That place has been a disaster since the employee stalking episodes from 4 years ago. No inventory (except now the counterfeit kind), the knowledgeable shoe saleswoman who used to work there is gone, and now the criminal element. Please get rid of this store and let’s start fresh with a good shoe store.
