Justin C. Acocella of Pelham Manor, passed away on August 13, 2011 after a courageous, lifelong battle with chronic lung disease.
Justin was born on November 19, 1981 in New Rochelle to Charles and Elisse (Barbieri) Acocella. Justin enjoyed taking trips with his friends, working on his cars, and driving his WWII motorcycle with his friends riding in the sidecar. Justin was a carefree spirit, who was passionate in all that he did and touched the lives of all who knew him. His volunteerism was a reflection of his constant willingness to help others which he continued after his death. Portions of his lungs were donated for medical research to greater understand his disease.
