New Ro No Roof

The club is now scheduled to reopen 2/13.  This past week building and insurance inspectors found additional damage that needed to be addressed.  NYSC vice president Kelly Bubulo says daily updates will be available on the club website.

New Ro’s New York Sports Club remains closed more than 11 days after sustaining roof damage from powerful wind gusts. The NYSC website shows the facility is temporarily closed and directs members to use clubs in Larchmont, Mamaroneck, White Plains, Dobbs Ferry and Morris Park. 

For example, one local mom with a children's party booked for February 14 was contacted  by Club employees to tell her that the party could not be held there.  BettyAnn Bucchino says they were very nice, offering to switch dates or try to find another available club. She was told the New Rochelle facility would be closed for at least another two weeks. A NYSC representative says the damage to the roof and gas lines was extensive.
