Have Your Kids Seen the Stop Kony Video ?

Has your teenager mentioned the viral video about an African Warlord, Ugandan strongman Joseph Kony? He or she has probably already seen it on Facebook, writes a columnist at CrazyBizy. The Wall Street Journal writes about how the video went round the world so fast.

But my media cronies are buzzing about accusations the video is unaccurate and that the non-profit behind it, Invisible Children, may have questionable finances.  There’s more here on Huffington Post.

What do you think? What have you discussed with your kids?

  1. I was raised with the admonishment to “believe non of what you hear and only half of what you see”.

Can’t comment on the validity of this video but keep in mind the Acorn clips and the young Kuwaiti woman testifying that the Iraqis were pulling babies from their incubators.

A lot of propaganda on Youtube; much created by world governments.
