This Earth Day, The Junkluggers, a green business whose mission is to collect any and all household junk with an eye on donation and recycling as alternatives to pure waste, is joining forces with Furniture Sharehouse, a not-for-profit that provides furniture to economically disadvantaged individuals and families.
Through April 22nd, householders who employ The Junkluggers not only have the satisfaction of knowing that their old appliances and furnishings will brighten the lives of others. They have the added pleasure of participating in a special Earth Day donation event: a percentage of the price of lugging will go directly to Furniture Sharehouse.
Furniture Sharehouse, a not-for-profit volunteer organization, offers families and individuals in need with the basic household furnishings that enable them to rebuild their lives and live with dignity.
The Junkluggers are committed to enhancing people’s lives while protecting the environment. By working with many different charitable organizations The Junkluggers optimize the chances that used toys, clothes, furniture, and more might be used to contribute to better lives for those in need. What can’t be donated is recycled whenever possible, to prevent waste and promote sustainablility.
