You may remember story here last March posted by the head of the County Red Cross, about his experience helping scared, cold and displaced residents of two adjacent house fires in Sleepy Hollow.
Today the Westchester County DA arraigned a volunteer firefighter in the crime. 22 year old Trent Bronner was charged with seven counts of Arson and Criminal Mischief in the fire, believed to have been set under the porch at 13 Cedar Street.
The fire displaced 19 people and both homes were condemned.
The defendant was a member of the Sleepy Hollow Volunteer Fire Department. He remains in the County Jail. His next court appearance will be on September 28th, 2011, and faces 25 years in state prison.
