‘Crowdsourcing Dangerous Driving’ Hits Airwaves

rochelle/chatsworth ave

theLoop’s Crowd Sourcing Dangerous Driving series received some attention over the weekend from News12, which ran a story about loop readers  telling us what intersections and stretches of road may need immediate changes.

Featured were two areas we wrote about, a crosswalk that’s almost impossible to see on North Chatsworth Ave. and Rochelle Road in Larchmont/Town of Mamaroneck, and a stretch of Cedar Street in Mamaroneck Village.

We continue to review your emails and comments and will work at this until we get you some results.

  1. New comment system is in the works and older comments should be fully imported within 24 hours (of Thursday afternoon)… thanks for your patience!!

  2. Bad news isn’t wine. It doesn’t improve with age. – Colin Powell

It’s time the Town and its Traffic Committee sped up and gave the press some good news to report! Until then, we need to thank theloop for bringing the issue to light and News 12 for its further exposure. Now the Town has lost its excuse of being in the dark and must be held responsible for improvement or the consequences of its failures..
