Got guests coming? Need to get away yourself? In Croton, there’s an 1889 B&B overlooking the Hudson. Alexander Hamilton never lived at the Alexander Hamilton House, but it still has plenty of history. And if you’re interested in being an Innkeeper, the owner, who has another B&B on Cape Cod, teaches innkeeping courses, as we learned from our friends at Hudson Valley Handymom:
When people come to New York, whether it be for business or pleasure, it’s often missed that Westchester has historical places to stay that are convenient to New York City.
In the quaint Village of Croton-On-Hudson on a quiet dead end street that has sweeping views of the river, sits the grand Alexander Hamilton House Bed and Breakfast.
Although built in 1889, the Alexander Hamilton House came into operation as a bed and breakfast in 1982 under the direction and ownership of Barbara Notarius who wrote the book Open Your Own Bed and Breakfast.
