The Woman’s Club of Rye Children’s Philanthropy is excited to announce their annual Spring Boutique, to be held at Whitby Castle (330 Boston Post Road) Wednesday, May 10 from 10am to 8pm. The Rye Children’s Philanthropy is a group of dedicated women whose primary focus is fund raising to benefit the children of Rye. Qualifying institutions, agencies, and groups in Rye such as Rye Recreation and the Rye Free Reading Room receive funding for scholarships and cultural, emotional or recreational enrichment. Families qualifying for the schools’ free lunch program receive food cards to help at Thanksgiving and spring break as well as gifts at holiday time.
The Spring Boutique is the Children’s Philanthropy’s largest fundraiser of the year and this year will feature vendors such as Illysee’s Pieces, Gretchen Neal Designs, Dawn Elizabeth, Carol Workinger, Clare Hare Darien, and of course, East End Foodies (aka “The Olive Oil Guy!”). All proceeds from the boutique will benefit children’s programs in Rye. Let’s all support our community and shop for a good cause! This year will feature the addition of Kids Corner so you can drop off your children while you shop! For more information about the event and the organization see their websitewww.womansclubofrye.org.
