The public discussion over potential redistricting in the Mamaroneck Schools system continues.
There will be another “Enrollment Planning Community Conversation” Tuesday evening, Feb. 6. Hommocks Library, 7:00 pm (this is a time change).
The School Board says it will “focus on near-term solutions,” and the creation of a Task Force to allow parents, residents and staff members to provide input, expertise and ideas to the administration as they face a growing student body.
While comparable school districts show declining or flat enrollment, the Mamaroneck School District has added about 650 students since 2010, according to the District, 471 of them kindergarteners.
