The Larchmont Historical Society annual Spring House Tour is Sunday, May 6 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm with a reception following at the Larchmont Yacht Club from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
Expect the unexpected at the “Fireplaces & Inspiring Spaces” tour which will welcome participants to visit five, never before featured, turn-of-the-century Larchmont homes. All promise to delight with stunning period details, remarkable fireplaces, interiors, and inspiring art collections, as well as authentic and reproduction pieces to make even the most seasoned interior-design enthusiast swoon.
Think sleek modern kitchens with a European minimalist feel, a stunning contemporary and modern art collection we will all be so lucky to even see, treasures found inside a wall during renovations such as old Algebra textbooks, antique decorative tiles and more, a true time-capsule, exquisite architecture and interior design and the list goes on!
Also get excited for the art reception at the Larchmont Yacht Club post-tour Think sculptures displayed in the Pando and signature cocktails. Orange vodka, orange juice, lime juice and a splash of cranberry and soda is on the menu!
