Undergoing renovation last summer

Etui Fiber Arts  will soon open on the Boston Post Road in Larchmont- in the space that was the cookie store, the historic Hughes Pharmacy Building, in an extensive renovation.

The store | gallery | workshop space will carry “high quality yarns, mainly from American ranches and farms, and cotton fabrics for quilting and creative sewing, all with an emphasis on organic and sustainable practices.”

Owner Julie Saviano can tell you all about the “Field to Needle” movement, where crafters are connected to the farmers, growers, ranchers, and hand-dyers who create yarns, wools, and cottons that they use in their crafts.

An opening reception of Bird:House, an exhibit of mixed media work by Jane Davila will be on Friday, February 28, from 6-8 pm.
