The Mamaroneck Town Center Offices will close Wednesday morning November 16, 2011 between 9:30 AM and noon in order to permit Town employees to attend funeral services for Robert Del Vecchio, described in a Town notice as  “a valued member of the Highway Department and a much loved co-worker and friend.”

Mr. Del Vecchio, who was hired in 2002, died of injuries that he sustained in a tragic accident at the Maxwell Avenue Yard in Larchmont on Friday morning.

The Town Center Offices will re-open shortly after noon on Wednesday and remain open until 4:30 PM.  Funeral arrangements and Obituary.

The Journal News reports DelVecchio’s father wishes only to console the other Town worker, Dennis Cucinella, involved in the “tragic accident” that killed his son.
