Pet Project: Gimme Shelter
You may remember that about a year ago, a total of 8 dogs were stolen from the Mount Vernon Animal shelter. All were eventually recovered and one, Brooklyn, is still available for adoption.
According to volunteer Dina, “He’s a beautiful dog who deserves to have a great home. The shelter also needs exposure since it’s over crowded and underfunded. It relies heavily on donations and volunteers so it would be really great if you could catch up with the shelter and tell Brooklyn’s story as well as help the shelter get some attention so donations increase and hopefully a few other dogs who have been there almost a year can find homes for the holidays.”
